With this project we take privacy seriously.

We fully acknowledge that some of the stories shared may describe policy violations, ethical violations, and even possible criminal acts.

We are not here to judge. We are here to be a fly on the wall. 

The operators of this site are retired law enforcement personnel with no mandatory reporting obligations. And we take all reasonable steps to ensure that submissions are edited to remove any information that might link them to a specific person, place, agency or event.

In an effort to make communication truly anonymous, all submissions are automatically routed to a secure Tuta email address in Germany, and then forwarded to the site administrators.

Tuta is a secure email site that provides end-to-end encryption algorithms for all data. The data is encrypted at rest and only decrypted within the email client.

This action reasonably removes all routing information from the email received by the site administrators.  And, any provided identifying characteristics, such as the submitting IP Address, is secured by the Tuta site and the responding privacy laws of the German government.
